it's funny the little things that i miss from living up north. there were always the flowers in bloom during the spring and it was always my favorites...tulips, dasies, daffodils...all the good spring ones. now i just have to settle for store bought in a vase. which don't get me wrong, i LOVE and it does add a smile to my face to see them, but there was just something about the spring flowers poping up. my cousin that lives in NYC sent me the cutest picture of some tulips that were growing around a tree near where she lives. it made me smile a lot and miss springtime (and even some of summer) in the north.
that is the one thing that i would love to be able to do at the new house is landscape the front and back yards. our front yard has much to be desired about right now, but we had to cut things back so it will take some time to get it looking better. once the fence is totally complete i will be putting some hanging baskets around the fence to add some color to the backyard.
enough of my random ramblings...i just love flowers and miss my favorites!!
