shoes??!?

let's face it...i have never been one to be "into" shoes before a few years ago.  now, i love them, but i love ones that are always beyond my budget.  i can't wear heals so much because of my horrible coordination, but i love me some cute flats!  in any case, i always said that for my wedding i would be wearing flip flops.  recently, i have been looking at other options and fell in LOVE with a pair of shoes that i saw online tonight.  so much that i up and ordered them once i found a site that had them in stock.  i turned to my mom and aaron and said, "why is it that i can book the church, book the reception hall, photographer, etc. and not freak out, but i order a pair of shoes and think to myself that i can't believe this is all actually happening." they both just laughed at me.  aaron probably thought to himself, "umm, what about me giving you that ring on your finger?" luckily he just entertains my craziness!


on top of that silliness, we have a lot of wedding stuff happening this week.  on thursday, aaron and i are going to look at tuxes for the guys.  he has a general idea of what he wants, but we want to actually go look at them in person.  then on friday, my mom and i are going to meet with a potential florist.  a friend of mine who just got married recommended her to me because she loved her work.  she said she was reasonably priced (check!) and very flexible (check!) and creative (check!).  we shall see how all of this goes, i am looking forward to it all.


on another note, aaron and i got our new bedroom furniture...or should i say his new bedroom furniture for awhile longer!  we both really like how it ended up looking in the room.  our rooms at the house are so small, which made it difficult picking furniture.  right now there are no night stands, but with the look of the furniture we will probably go antique shopping to get some small tables or something to do the job.  we shall see!
