wedding...wedding...wedding!!!

i am taking a break from working on wedding stuff to blog some about the craziness known as our wedding!  we have been getting a lot done recently.


invites: are addressed thanks to my amazing aunt ellen and will be getting stuffed and ready to mail starting this weekend.  


welcome bags: we are starting to get some amazing things for our welcome bags for out of town guests.  i would personally want to stay in a hotel just to get one if i do say so myself!


cake pulls & cake:  the wedding and aaron's grooms cake have been ordered and while aaron's is a surprise to even him, here is the inspiration (and i make sure to emphasize inspiration) for the wedding cake:

as for the cake pulls, we had the AMAZING katie with jelly beads designs create us some new orleans themed cake pulls that came out even cuter than i could have imagined.  i can't wait to share them with everyone who is a "puller"!!

on the non-planning front, i had my bachelorette party and bridal shower a few weekends back.  i had such a good time!  we went and painted pottery for my bachelorette party and then after went and ate hibachi at one of my favorite places!

sunday was the bridal shower which was so nice!  i couldn't thank everyone enough who was involved with the planning.  i received some beautiful gifts and got to visit with some family and friends that i haven't seen in awhile!

rings:  aaron and i went and ordered our wedding bands.  mine is having to be made, so aucoin hart is having to keep my engagement ring until they are done.  we went last night and aaron tried his on and it looked great!  i had to look at my wax mold of mine to make sure i liked it and the fit of it.  i approved!  now it goes on to casting!!  can't wait to see the finished product.

...okay, time to go do some more wedding stuff.  the countdown is getting so close and we are both getting really excited.  more to come later i'm sure!
